1. N-Power Batch C: FG Sends Fresh Information to Shortlisted Applicants

The federal government, through the ministry of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, has released new information on the N-Power Batch C (stream 1) programme. The information on the website of the ministry, https://nasims.gov.ng/, indicates that all shortlisted applicants are requested to immediately enrol their biometric data to qualify for the final selection stage of the programme.

2. Naval officers’ wives to benefit from N-power, school feeding, CCT, GEEP

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has disclosed plans to support the Naval Officers’ Wives Association (NOWA), to aid them in empowering women, children and youths through the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPS). Umar Farouq made this known when the Executive Members of the Association led by its National President and wife of the Chief of Naval Staff Hajiya Nana Aisha Gambo paid her a courtesy visit on Wednesday in Abuja.

The Federal Government under the four components of the National Social Investments Programme (SIPs) has injected not less than about N28 billion in Niger State from 2016 till date. Focal person and Special Adviser to Niger State Governor on National Social Investment Programme, Amina Musa Gua’r, stated this while addressing journalists in a media parley on Tuesday in Minna.
