The exchange rate between the Naira and the US dollar according to the data posted on the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded showed that the naira opened at N413.71 per dollar on Monday, 4 October 2021, after it closed at N413.38 per $1 on Thursday, 30 September 2021. This represents a change of 0.00%.

The local currency opened at N578.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Monday, 4 October 2021, in Lagos Nigeria after it closed N575.00 per $1 on Friday, 1 October 2021. This represents a change of $3 from last week.

 

Newsonline Nigeria reports that in the black market, the players buy a dollar for N572 and sell for N578 on Monday morning, October 4, 2021. after they bought N572 and sold N575 last Friday. This means the dollar to naira exchange rate changed its position from last Friday with $3.

 

Meanwhile, Newsonline Nigeria reports that the USD started this week at ₦578 in Parallel Market also known as Black Market on Monday, October 4, 2021 in Lagos Nigeria.
