In a powerful show of youth-driven corporate social responsibility, IviTrybe Hearts, a community impact initiative of budding PR professionals, visited the Little Saints Orphanage in Akowonjo, Lagos, on Saturday. The outreach, aimed at spreading hope and supporting vulnerable children, was further bolstered by Pladis Foods Nigeria, which contributed generous product donations and essential items.

The initiative is part of the #IviTrybeHearts program—an extension of IviTrybe, the social impact arm of IVI PR, a forward-looking public relations agency focused on brand development and community betterment. IviTrybe’s dual purpose is to provide hands-on training in brand strategy and public relations while simultaneously tackling skill gaps in Nigeria’s communications sector through socially responsible engagements.

During the visit, members of the IviTrybe Hearts team spent quality time with the children, organizing games, interactive storytelling, and mentorship sessions designed to uplift and inspire. Beyond entertainment, the team donated food items, personal care supplies, and educational materials, reaffirming their commitment to supporting the daily needs of the orphanage.

Speaking on behalf of the team, Busari Toheeb Dolapo, IviTrybe Coordinator, highlighted the significance of the visit:

“For whom much is given, much is expected. We’ve gained practical skills and mentorship at IVI PR, and we believe in channelling that privilege into something greater than ourselves. Seeing the children smile today reminded us that impact begins with empathy.”

Representatives of the Little Saints Orphanage commended the team’s effort, describing the visit as deeply meaningful. The orphanage’s management noted that such gestures of kindness do more than meet material needs—they uplift spirits and restore a sense of community and belonging for the children.

Through initiatives like IviTrybe Hearts, IVI PR continues to demonstrate how empowering young professionals with the right tools and values can yield far-reaching societal benefits. As the agency nurtures the next generation of communicators, it also ensures they remain deeply rooted in purpose, compassion, and community service.
