It is now about personal interest as four governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have reportedly pitched their support with the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 general election.

Recall that the governors of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu and Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi have held meetings with the APC presidential candidate, Tinubu in London.

The governors are insisting on the resignation of the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu must resign from his position for a Southerner before they support the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The source who disclosed that four PDP governors are working for Tinubu, however, failed to disclose their names.
