MegaMillions Naija Lotteries

MegaMillions Naija Lotteries Boss, Victor Nwaobia in this interview speaks to NewsOnline about his career, business model, motivation, partnerships, and how to create accounts in the foremost lottery company in Nigeria.

Can we meet Victor Nwaobia?

Victor Nwaobia is a Commercial business executive with over 20 years of experience.

He has held several senior management positions in organizations across various sectors of the Nigerian economy.

His career spans the FMCG sector, Pharmaceuticals and Health care, Telcos, Lottery, Sports Betting, and Gaming across the private and public sectors.

He is the Chief Operating Officer of International Gaming and Entertainment Limited, the owners of the Megamillions Naija Lotteries.

  1. What is the motivation of idea behind MegaMillions Naija Lotteries?

People today seek to be a part of something greater than a small reward. They dream to earn big, and this is why most people travel to the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and different countries to play some of the world biggest lotteries. This is because they were required to be physically resident in those countries or travel to the home countries of these lotteries to participate and play in their currency. Megamillions Naija Lotteries levering partnerships and technology has made things easier now, and we have delivered a platform where people can play these lotteries right from the comfort of their homes. You do not need to travel or send money to someone living abroad to help you play any of the international lotteries. With Megamillions Naija, you can play with our local currency, the Naira.

  1. How does it work?

International Gaming and Entertainment was founded to promote diversity and inclusion for Nigerian lottery players and enthusiasts to benefit from the world’s biggest lotteries.

MegaMillions Naija is operated by International Gaming & Entertainment Limited. We are licensed and regulated by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission. Our unique business model allows you to enter for a chance of winning any of the big global lottery games. When you enter one of our lotteries, you play in Naira. We purchase tickets in the major overseas lotteries, and when the tickets are drawn, any prize won, the ticket owner is paid the Naira equivalent.

MegaMillions Naija now has partnerships with over 20 international lotteries. International lotteries like the US Powerball, US MegaMillions, Eurojackpot, OZ Lotto, Euromillions, Superlotto plus, and many more can be accessed and played on our platform with our local currency, the Naira.

  1. What differentiates your brand from sports betting and local betting?

Firstly, we offer convenience. The company offers a seamless way to play lottery games. If you are 18 years old or older, you can pick your lucky numbers manually or use the platform’s Quick Pick random number generator. There is no skill set or knowledge of the game that is required for you to play the lotteries on our platform. All you need to do is pick a set of numbers from a group and play them. You can also let the system pick them for you. It is far more straightforward than the knowledge of games or the skill required to make an informed odds decision in sports betting.

Secondly, we offer a huge reward that no other gaming firm in Nigeria can match. We have some lottery jackpot that rise to as high as 200 billion Naira on our platform. Also, unlike sports betting, where you have to wait for the sports season to be able to bet or win something, you can play and win every day of the year on our platform. As soon as someone wins a jackpot, it automatically resets to a standard amount that continues to grow till the next draw. For example, when someone wins the U.S. Megamillions jackpot, it rolls back to N8.3 billion, which continues to grow till the next draw.

There is no need to worry about losing your ticket or ownership disputes. It is a digital ticket, and if you buy it, then you own it. It’s as simple as that. Plus, we will notify you if you win, so you don’t have to set any “check your numbers” reminders.

  1. In a time when people manipulate things, how do you ensure security on your platform?

Your information is secured behind several layers of protection. Payment information is managed by industry-leading payment partners who comply with all standards. We do background checks on every person that registers. Lottery tickets purchased on the Megamillions Naija platforms are digitally scanned and sent to the player. You can also view your tickets on your transactions when you log into your account.

  1. Is MegaMillions Naija for everyone?

Anyone over the age of 18 can participate in our lottery games. We created a business model that allows every class in Nigeria to participate. Players who cannot afford the full tickets can participate in GROUP GAMES. It enables you to purchase a share of a ticket for as little as N100 per share. If the ticket wins the jackpot or any other category of winnings, those who purchased part shares of the ticket will share the reward.

This makes participation in these international lotteries affordable for all segments of society. You can win life-changing jackpots and prize money with as little as N100.

  1. How can one register and play?

Playing these lotteries on our platform is as easy as a click on your phone.

All you need to do is visit www.megamillionsnaija.com

Click the register button.

Enter your information.

Agree to the terms and conditions, then click “Register.”

Fund your account.

Select any lottery of your choice.

Choose single-play or Group play.

Select your numbers and the number of tickets you want to buy.

The system automatically generates your ticket.

  1. Are there any fees attached to winning any of these lotteries?

We do not charge fees or take any commission on winnings

  1. How will a winner know if he has won?

This will be reflected in your MegaMillions account, and you will also receive an email that you have won.

  1. What is your plan for the next few years?

There are many plans; number one is to actualise our mission of becoming

the biggest lottery operator in Sub-Saharan Africa with exceptional services built on integrity, excellence and accountability, not even in Nigeria. We have partnered with several lottery boards in Europe, the United States, South America, Australia, and many countries to achieve this.
