Google has rolled out new AI features across multiple products.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Google has announced a range of new artificial intelligence (AI) features across some of its popular products, including Search, Gmail, and Meet.

This Nigeria news platform understands that the tech giant revealed the updates during Google I/O 2025, its annual developer conference currently underway in California.

The company said the enhancements are part of a broader effort to make its AI models more “intelligent, personalised and agentic”.

Among the major updates is Gemini 2.5, which Google described as its most advanced model yet, adding that the product would soon be available in Pro and Flash formats.

According to Google, the Pro version will introduce Deep Think, an advanced reasoning mode, designed to handle complex math and coding challenges.

For Search, the tech giant said it is rolling out AI Mode to all users in the United States, offering summaries of results and assistance with tasks like planning and shopping.

“Users can now try on items using their own photos and complete purchases through an “agentic checkout” system,” the statement reads.

In Gmail, the organisation said users will now see personalised smart replies, while Meet will offer real-time speech translation.

The company also introduced new generative media tools, including Imagen 4 and Veo 3, for creating images and videos, with native audio generation.

Other updates include improvements to the Gemini app, which now supports Deep Research, Canvas, and camera and screen-sharing features on Android and iOS.

Google also unveiled Beam and Flow, two new AI experiences, alongside a premium subscription tier that offers exclusive access to its most powerful AI models and features.

Sundar Pichai, Google’s chief executive officer (CEO), described the latest AI advancements as a major milestone.

“More intelligence is available… And the world is responding, adopting Al faster than ever before,” he said.

He said decades of AI research are finally becoming practical tools for people, businesses, and communities worldwide.
