Funke Akindele snubbed Toyin Abraham at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere and the video has sparked reactions.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that there was a moment of tension on Sunday after Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele appeared to ignore her colleague Toyin Abraham during a public greeting at a movie premiere.

The incident occurred at the premiere of a film hosted by Iyabo Ojo, where several Nollywood stars gathered for the event.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Funke Akindele was seen seated at a table alongside Iyabo Ojo and fellow actress Mercy Aigbe when Toyin Abraham approached to greet them. While Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe acknowledged her greeting, Akindele appeared to look away and did not respond.

Toyin Abraham was seen briefly pausing before walking away from the table, a moment that many observers described as awkward.

The clip has since generated mixed reactions from fans online. Some social media users argued that Akindele may still be upset with Abraham following her support for comments made by veteran filmmaker Kunle Afolayan that were perceived as critical of the actress.

Others, however, believe the situation could have been handled more professionally, noting that public events are often an opportunity for celebrities to maintain cordial relationships despite personal differences.

The video continues to trend across social media platforms as fans debate the interaction between the two Nollywood stars.
