NewsOnline Nigeria reports that content creator and streamer, Carter Efe and controversial rapper Speed Darlington have intensified their rivalry ahead of their much-anticipated celebrity boxing showdown, with both fighters trading heated words at a press conference in Lagos on Thursday.
The press conference, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Sheraton Ikeja, was organised ahead of the “Chaos in the Ring” event scheduled for October 1, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The atmosphere at the event became increasingly chaotic as fighters engaged in heated exchanges during their faceoffs, setting the tone for what promises to be a dramatic night of celebrity and professional boxing.
Carter vows to knock out Speed
The headline celebrity bout between Carter Efe and Speed Darlington dominated proceedings, with Carter showing little respect for his opponent’s experience.
Carter vowed to knock out Speed when they eventually meet in the ring, describing the rapper as old and questioning his ability to withstand the intensity of the contest.
The content creator also made reference to Speed’s previous encounter with street-pop singer Portable, apparently using the defeat to question his opponent’s credentials ahead of their October 1 showdown.
Speed, however, pushed back against the narrative, insisting that Portable did not actually knock him out.
