Newsonline reports that the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, on Friday, met with the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima.

A photo shared online today, however, shows the entrepreneur and former lawmaker kneeling down to greet Tinubu and Shettima inside a mosque.
However, former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, alleged the gesture was Yusuf Datti’s way of lobbying to decamp to the ruling camp to support the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.
Sharing the photo via his verified Twitter handle, Garba wrote: “While lobbying to decamp to APC and support Tinubu/Shettima ticket, Yusuf Datti, Peter Obi’s Vice-Presidential candidate bows to Kashim Shettima and Bola Tinubu to pay homage.
“Baba ma da Babansa.”
