Newsonline reports that two-term member of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Lady Elizabeth Edem Ironbar is dead.

According to family sources, Mrs. Ironbar died in the early hours of Wednesday following a protracted illness.
This online newspaper gathered that Ironbar who has represented Akpabuyo constituency since June 2015 is known for her Cross River State Disability Commission bill and is the second member of the ninth Assembly to pass on.
In June 2020, Godwin Akwaji, the lawmaker representing Obudu constituency at the Cross River state house of assembly, died after showing symptoms of COVID-19.
As at the time of publishing this report, authorities in Cross River State are yet to react to the news of Lady Ironbar‘s demise.
