Kidnappers Of UNIABUJA Residents

Kidnappers of UNIABUJA residents have demanded N300 Million Ransom.

 

 

Newsonline reports that barely 4 hours after the spokesperson of the University of Abuja has revealed that the Kidnappers of six persons from the university’s main campus had not reached out to the families of their victims, it has now been revealed that the abductors have demanded N300 million.

The kidnappers are demanding N50 million ransom per victim, according to sources quoted by The Punch.

 

The paper said sources familiar with the matter confirmed that the assailants reached out to the families of the victims and made their demands known.

 

The university’s spokesperson, Habib Yakoob, confirmed the development to The Punch.

 

“They got in touch with the family, the parents of the abducted children were contacted. We learnt they are asking for N300 million for all of them,” he said.

Newsonline Nigeria reported that in the early hours of Tuesday, an unknown number of assailants attacked the staff quarters of the university, kidnapping 3 staff members and 3 of their children.
