Gunmen have kidnapped another powerful DPO in Kaduna.

 

 

Newsonline reports that Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State ‎has been abducted by suspected bandits terrorizing the area.

 

 

This online newspaper learnt that the incident occurred early hours of Monday when the criminal elements operated in the area along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway.

The DPO, who was recently posted to the area, was reportedly on his way to Birnin Gwari to report at his duty post‎ when he was abducted.

 

When contacted by NewsOnline Team, Mohammed Jalinge, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the state command, said he would inquire and revert.

 

This is coming barely four days after bandits abducted a DPO in Nasarawa State and demanded N5 million ransom
