APGA’s Charles Soludo has won Anambra Governorship Election by Landslide.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), as the winner of the Anambra State governorship election.
Soludo, who currently serves as the state’s governor, secured a sweeping victory across all 21 local government areas, defeating 15 other candidates in a contest that reaffirmed APGA’s dominance in the state.

According to official results, Soludo garnered 422,664 votes, far ahead of his closest challenger, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 99,445 votes.
The election, held across 5,720 polling units, recorded impressive voter participation, with Soludo maintaining commanding leads in both urban and rural centres.

With this result, Soludo’s victory cements APGA’s continued dominance in Anambra politics, extending the party’s winning streak in the state’s governorship elections.
INEC is expected to issue Soludo his Certificate of Return in Awka, the state capital.
