Bundesliga buzz: Boniface up for Player of the Month!

Newsonline Nigeria report that our very own Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface, has been nominated for the highly coveted Bundesliga Player of the Month award for August.

He’s facing some fierce competition from the likes of Harry Kane and Alphonse Davies from Bayern Munich, Jonas Wind from Wolfsburg, Kevin Behrens from Union Berlin, and Benjamin Henrichs from RB Leipzig.

It’s truly an impressive achievement for Boniface, who at just 22 years old, managed to score two goals and provide one assist in just two appearances for Leverkusen last month.

Our talented forward, Victor Boniface, is not only in the running for the Bundesliga Player of the Month award, but he’s also a nominee for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award! Alongside him, we have the Nigerian-born goalkeeper, Noah Atubolu, and RB Leipzig’s rising star, Xavi Simons, vying for the same honor.

Boniface has been on fire, scoring an impressive four goals and providing one assist in just three league appearances for Die Werkself.

It’s worth mentioning that he joined Xabi Alonso’s side this summer from the Belgian Pro League club, Union St Gilloise. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for Boniface as he continues to make waves in the Bundesliga!
