Bola Tinubu

Bola Tinubu has been criticized and dragged to the mud by Nigerians on social media over his one Nigeria comment.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been dragged by Nigerians after his recent statement on Nigeria’s unity.

Tinubu yesterday stated that Nigeria cannot divide and that he believes in the unity of the nation, meanwhile, he had said years ago that he doesn’t believe in one Nigeria.

The former Lagos State governor, who spoke at a special Ramadan prayer held in Lagos on Sunday, said, “God will not allow Nigeria to experience it (war). If we say Nigeria should separate, people should remember what war caused in Sudan and Iraq.

“Such war does not end in time. We are yet to recover from the civil war. We are better together.

“I have nowhere I am going. Whoever has experienced war in the past will not pray for such. Nigeria will not separate; it’s not acceptable to us. Our prayer is for prosperity and more wealth for the country.”

After this latest statement of his came up, some Nigerians dug up his statement years ago, and raised questions on why he changed his stand now.

Most of them concluded that Tinubu only said that because of his presidential ambition in 2023.

When Nigeria breaks up Tinubu, you will be running for your life as you did during #EndSARS.

Al this one is cheap talk. https://t.co/hBKfUlD3MB

Nigeria better as one, we'll not separate. Breakup unacceptable to us — Tinubu

WHO IS WE/US? Just be ready to run to Togo, bcos Nigeria won’t contain you & #EndSARS victims, after that spilt

Tinubu is a Requiem Mass as far as I’m concerned. His 2023 ambition is dead on arrival.
