The ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the new Director-General of Peter Obi and Datti Ahmad Presidential Campaign Organization, Akin Oshuntokun.

Newsonline reports that APC said though Akin Oshuntokun has been a great fighter in politics, it is sure the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi will not win the 2023 election.

Kayode said, “Congrats to my brother Bashorun Akin Osuntokun on his appointment as DG of the Obi/Dati PCC. I respect Akin and we have fought many battles shoulder-to-shoulder against our common foes for over 30 years.”

APC added, “He has joined the losing side but he will be a formidable adversary.
look forward to joining issues, crossing swords and meeting my brother in the field of battle.”

Kayode, a former minister of Aviation under former president Olusegun Obasanjo at the time Akin was an aide to Obasanjo further added, Peter and Datti have absolutely NO chance of winning this election even with a tough and courageous soul and brilliant mind like Akin leading their campaign.”

Akin’s appointment was announced on Tuesday by Labour Party’s National Chairman, Comrade Julius Abure, at the Party NWC meeting with candidates, state party chairmen and state PCC Coordinators.
