“As vaccine ambassadors, we must ensure that no child is left unprotected. I have already commenced advocacy visits to Serikis and key Arewa community stakeholders to push this mandate forward,” he said.
The traditional ruler was among prominent figures officially inaugurated at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, on September 16, 2025. Other ambassadors inducted at the ceremony included the Oba of Lagos, HRM Rilwan Akiolu Osuolale; the Oniru of Iruland, HRM Oba Gbolahan Abdulwasiu Lawal; and the Onigbogbo of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali.
Kuraja commended the First Lady, describing her as “a relentless champion of child health initiatives.” He also lauded Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration for prioritizing healthcare under the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus agenda.
“Lagos continues to stand tall in healthcare investments, with child health protection receiving premium attention under the leadership of Governor Sanwo-Olu,” the Seriki added.
