President Tinubu has confirmed forgiving Sanwo-Olu amid feud speculation.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu announced this afternoon that he had absolved Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of any perceived transgressions after a meeting with members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).

This Nigeria news platform underfstands that President Tinubu confirmed that his anger had subsided, and he had forgiven “all the sins” of the governor.

The GAC members convened to intercede on behalf of Governor Sanwo-Olu and others who might have angered President Tinubu.

Alhaji Tajudeen Olusi, the GAC chairman, welcomed Tinubu to Lagos and acknowledged the apparent discontent the president had with specific people in the state, particularly the governor.

Olusi pleaded for mercy, seeking to mend the fractured relationship between Tinubu and some of Lagos’ prominent figures.

Responding, the president, according to multiple sources, said, “It’s all over now. All is forgiven,” assuring everyone in the room that he was no longer angry with anyone, let alone Sanwo-Olu.

It was gathered that Sanwo-Olu and other members of the GAC members prostrated before President Tinubu, expressing remorse and seeking appeasement for the tension between the governor and the president.

The meeting, according to one source, focused on reconciliation without delving into the specifics of the conflict. GAC members collectively pleaded for mercy for Governor Sanwo-Olu, and President Tinubu granted it.
