Martinelli injured his ankle following a tackle from Brighton’s Moises Caicedo last weekend.

Zinchenko was not even part of Arteta’s matchday squad for the game at the Emirates.

Both players will now miss the last two fixtures against Forest and Wolves.

“They are both out for the rest of the season. Gabi is a pretty nasty injury, we need to assess next week how long, but he will be out for at least weeks.

“With Alex, he has a calf issue and he won’t be able to play the next few games,” Arteta said.
