Phyna won ₦50m and new car after knocking out Nkechi Blessing in celebrity boxing bout.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Big Brother Naija Level Up winner, Josephina “Phyna” Otabor, has won ₦50 million and a brand-new car after defeating actress Nkechi Blessing by technical knockout in the fourth round of their celebrity boxing bout.
The two entertainers faced each other on Thursday, October 1, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos during Balmoral Promotions’ Chaos in the Ring event.
Phyna secured the victory in the fourth round to emerge winner of the female celebrity boxing contest.
Following the fight, the reality television star shared photos of herself with her championship belt and reflected on her transition from reality television to the boxing ring.

“From reality TV to the boxing ring, I’ve always been willing to challenge myself, break barriers and prove that there is so much more to Phyna than what people see,” she wrote.
Phyna also dedicated her victory to women who have been told they could not achieve certain goals.
“This one is for every woman who has ever been told she couldn’t. We can, we will, and we absolutely should,” she said.
The victory marks another milestone for Phyna, who rose to prominence after winning the seventh season of the Big Brother Naija reality television show in 2022.
Her bout against Nkechi Blessing was part of the celebrity boxing card at Chaos in the Ring, which brought together entertainers and professional boxers for a night of crossover fights and championship action.
