ICPC has uncovered another ‘fake’ agency inside SGF office.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has uncovered another alleged illegal government agency operating within the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
ICPC Chairman Musa Aliyu disclosed the development on Friday, identifying Prince George Buchi Nwabueze as the alleged promoter of the organisation.
According to Aliyu, the organisation operates under the name “National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office.”

The anti-graft commission alleged that the unauthorised agency was allocated office space within the premises of the SGF’s office despite having no lawful status.
The discovery followed the commission’s investigation into the controversial Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, which allegedly led investigators to two additional unauthorised agencies.
Following the latest findings, President Bola Tinubu ordered Nwabueze’s arrest and the suspension of three permanent secretaries in the SGF’s office.
The affected officials were identified as M.S. Danjuma, Nadungu Gagare and Richard P. Pheelangwah.
Tinubu also directed that a forensic audit of relevant government processes be conducted to determine how the alleged agencies were created and allocated official facilities.
The ICPC said its investigation was continuing as authorities moved to identify other individuals who may have been involved.
