David Mark  has stated that ADC will be on the 2027 elections ballot despite court cases.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, David Mark, has assured party members that the ADC will fully participate in the 2027 general elections despite ongoing legal battles.

Mark gave the assurance on Wednesday night after receiving a briefing from the party’s legal team on a recent judgment delivered by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Addressing concerns among party supporters, the former Senate President expressed confidence that the ADC would overcome all pending litigations.

“You do not have anything to be afraid of regarding all the litigations before the party,” Mark stated.

“I want to assure you that we shall triumph in all the cases, and we shall be on the ballot for every election,” he added.

The ADC chairman further noted that the party was fully prepared to explore all legal avenues to protect its political interests ahead of the 2027 polls.

“We are more than ready for these cases and will do everything within the ambit of the law to surmount every situation,” he said, while pledging to personally lead the party through the legal process.

According to party officials, the ADC legal team has already filed an appeal against the Federal High Court judgment and also applied for a stay of execution, underscoring the party’s determination to challenge the ruling.

The reassurance comes as the ADC intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections in a bid to strengthen its political presence nationwide.

Party leaders believe the development will boost confidence among members and supporters while reinforcing the party’s resolve to remain a strong contender in Nigeria’s political landscape.

Earlier, the party’s legal team briefed Mark and other ADC leaders on the implications of the court ruling and strategies being adopted for the legal battle ahead.
