Actress Dokubo has predicted that Labour Party will win the 2023 Presidential election in Nigeria.

Newsonline reports that Veteran Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo, has expressed her optimism that the Labour Party will take over power from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State in 2023.

Dokubo, who is the Labour party’s candidate for Akuku-Toru/Asari-Toru Federal Constituency seat in Rivers, said this on Thursday in Port Harcourt, the state capital, at the party’s stakeholders meeting, while reacting to insinuations by some individuals that the party lacked the needed structure to triumph in the 2023 general elections.

“Individuals are the structures of every political party and we have our teaming supporters here in the state,” Dokubo said.

Meanwhile, the National chairman of the Labour Party Julius Abure has called on Nigerians to remain resolute in their quest for good governance and not be carried away with insinuations that the party has no structure to win the 2023 presidential election. He added that the suffering Nigerians are the party’s structures.

Abure stated this at a North West one day mobilisation, sensitisation program with national officers in Kaduna.

Represented by the national secretary, Alhaji Umar Farouq, the national chairman said the program is aimed at sensitising and mobilising more supporters to ensure they go to the polls against all odds for the success of Labour Party and the Peter Obi/Datti Baba-Ahmed project.
