Peter Obi Mourns Labour Party Women Leader, Chintex, Killed In Kaduna

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has replied All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organization spokesman, Festu Keyamo over his assassination comment.

Newsonline reports that Peter Obi said by Festus Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria uttering such word, it seems he may no more than what he said.

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo had in reaction to video Peter Obi disclosed on Twitter which he claimed was sent to him by Tinubu support.

The WhatsApp message called on the Yoruba not to vote Peter Obi because, the Labour Party presidential candidate if he wins will open sea ports in theSouth-East, which will affect development in Lagos.

A part of the mesage read, ““The Igbos will stop coming to Lagos State to invest, rather they will go to Delta and Rivers states. They may even stop building houses in Lagos.”

Keyamo said the message Peter obi claimed was sent to him by Tinubu, APC presidential candidate supporters was fake.

Referring to Peter Obi, Keyamo said, “the US Strategy” (just like the failed “Dubai Strategy” his former boss and himself adopted in 2019)” was to return to Nigeria, spread ethnic hatred among voters and cause chaos.”

Keyamo claimed that the former Anambra State governor is planning “to fake an assassination attempt and hire LP boys dressed in APC caps and T-shirts” to attack party offices.”

He added that the assassination attempt he claimed Peter Obi will raise was “part of the US Plan, the first in a series of incendiary actions planned by an “ill-prepared but desperate candidate.”

In reaction to the assassination attempt by Keyamo, Emeka Obasi, Peter Obi’s Media Aide questioned where Keyamo got informationa about assassination attempt against his boss.

Desribing the assassination attempt as “a terrible thing to say,” Obasi said, “Are they in any way trying to carry out such an attempt and seeking to blame Obi for it? The public deserves to know and that’s why we should put it up in the press.

“Does Keyamo know more than we know and just use this opportunity to cry wolf? What is his plan for uttering this kind of stupid statement?”
