Zoho Nigeria has promoted Women’s Digital Empowerment at Guardian Women Festival 2026.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Zoho Nigeria has reinforced its commitment to women’s digital empowerment through its partnership with Guardian Newspapers at the 2026 Guardian Women Festival.

Held at the Federal Palace Hotel, the month-long initiative celebrated women’s contributions to business, governance, and social development while promoting digital transformation for female entrepreneurs.

The festival, themed “Reciprocity,” focused on fostering collaboration, value exchange, and innovation among women-led businesses.

Delivering a keynote address titled “Give Value, Gain Growth: Women Driving Reciprocal Innovation in the Digital Economy,” Kehinde Ogundare emphasized the urgent need to close the digital gap among female entrepreneurs.

He noted that while Nigeria has one of the highest numbers of women-owned businesses in Africa, less than 30 percent leverage digital tools to scale their operations.

“The difference is not talent, not capital, not ambition—it is digital adoption,” Ogundare said, adding that technology enhances existing strengths such as relationship building and community engagement, enabling women to expand their reach and grow efficiently.

Also speaking at the event, Zubaida Aliyu participated in a panel session on Women in the Business of Digital Innovation, where she highlighted the role of digital platforms in driving collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Aliyu urged organisations to treat women’s digital inclusion as a strategic priority rather than a corporate social responsibility initiative.

“Tech creates a level playing field,” she said, noting that digital tools remove barriers related to location and infrastructure. She added that companies ignoring inclusive digital strategies are missing significant economic opportunities.

Through its involvement in the festival, Zoho Nigeria reiterated its mission to provide accessible, enterprise-grade technology solutions that enable businesses—especially those led by women—to transition from manual processes to scalable digital operations.

The initiative underscores the growing importance of digital inclusion in unlocking the full potential of women entrepreneurs and driving sustainable growth in Africa’s evolving digital economy.
