Former Governor Wike has spoken on President Tinubu going to regret nominating him as a Minister of the Federal Republic.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has said that President Bola Tinubu will not regret nominating him as a minister in his cabinet.

Wike made this known while fielding questions at the National Assembly during the ministerial screening on Monday.

Wike said, ‘’I thank Mr President for nominating me. I believe knowing how hungry Mr President is to solve the problems of Nigeria, we have no choice but to give him that required support, and I can assure you that if I am confirmed, he will never in whatever capacity regret nominating me”.

Wike after reeling out his Curriculum Vitae and achievements, noted that his passion for Nigeria propelled him to accept the ministerial offer.

Wike, who was screened today is the only Peoples Democratic Party chieftain nominated in the ministerial list sent by the President to the Senate last Thursday.
