Governor Wike has said the Rivers State PDP governorship Candidate, Fubara Siminialaye, will be his successor.
The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Tuesday named his successor while pledging to complete every of his project before the end of his tenure.

Newsonline reports that Gov Wike named the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Fubara Siminialaye as his successor.
Wike said that Siminialaye would complete his projects in the spirit of continuity in the state even if he fails to finish any of them.
Wike, who said this at the inauguration of the twin buildings housing the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences and the Faculty of Clinical Sciences in Port Harcourt, on Tuesday, disclosed that many other separate health service-providing facilities had been integrated into the teaching hospital for holistic service delivery.
The governor noted that “I will not leave any project unfinished. I will make sure all the projects we have started are finished. If they are not finished, maybe at 90 or 95% completion, when my successor, Siminalaye Fubara and Prof. Ngozi Ordu, come, they should use them for their first one hundred days in office projects and commission them.
“This is because they are part of what we are doing. When I say my successor, you know they will win. You know they will win because our report card is there to show what we have done. We are in the period of operation show your report card.”
Wike invites Buhari, Peter Obi, Oshiomole to commission projects in Rivers
Governor Wike, On Monday, invited President Muhammadu Buhari and former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, among others for projects commissioning in Rivers state.
Aside from Buhari and Oshiomole, Wike also invited the LP’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi; and Emir of Kano, HRH Aminu Ado Bayero for the the project commissioning.
The commissioning, tagged, “Fourth Quarter 2022 Project Commissioning.” was scheduled as a week-long programme commencing today Monday, November 14, and is expected to end on Friday, November 18, 2022.
The monarch is scheduled to inaugurate the Dr Peter Odili Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease Diagnostic and Treatment Centre in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers on Monday.
