The spokesman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo has disclosed that at the time Bola Tinubu was Lagos State governor, he did not single him out for criticism.
Newsonline reports that Keyamo said the only criticism he could remember against the APC presidential candidate, Tinubu when he was governor was when he sacked civil servants in the state.
The current Minister of State for Labour and Employment said though he cannot remember everything he said on the sack, he knew his criticism of Tinubu’s sack of civil servants was based on the briefing he was giving at the chamber he worked.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria said contrary to the opinion of the opposition political parties that he finds it hard to defend the former Lagos State governor whom he had criticized, he finds it easy to talk about him.

The Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council spokesman challenged opposition parties to bring up one criticism he directed specifically to Tinubu.
Keyamo said “I will be very glad to know which particular criticisms they are talking about because I have seen some fake ones floating around”.
“On the issue of the sack of civil servants when Tinubu was governor, I think I was just a lawyer in one of those cases. My chamber was briefed. I cannot really remember because it is more than 20 years ago. I have done thousands of cases,” he added.
“I don’t think there was any time I singled out Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for special treatment or criticism. I was very critical of public officers generally.
“To say that I now find it very difficult job to defend Asiwaju now is very comical. In fact, it’s one of the things I take delight in doing based on what Nigeria stands to benefit from his presidency,” he said.
