All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima presidential ticket, has said the insecurity plaguing the country should not be blamed on APC because it was inherited.
Newsonline reports that the Director of Contact and Mobilisation for the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council for the North West, Aminu Jaji, said when elected in 2023, Tinubu will tackle the insecurity plaguing the country.
Jaji, a former Chairman House Committee on Intelligence and Internal Security in the House of Representatives, whose state is the most insecure state in the country, said he was optimistic that Zamfara citizens and residents will vote for the former governor of Lagos State.

The ex-Zamfara State governorship aspirant in 2019 added that President Muhammadu Buhari has done very well in tackling insecurity and other economic problems his administration inherited in 2015 from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government that was led by former president Goodluck Jonathan.
“I am very optimistic that APC would retain its seat at the national and State levels and if the APC presidential candidate is elected in 2023, he will make Nigeria and Nigerians very proud.
“I am sure that Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu will take the issue of insecurity as his number one priority and will tackle it appropriately.
“We know that the security challenges were inherited by the APC-led government and the party has done everything within its power to tackle the problem,” he stated.
