Breaking: Ortom Backs Obasanjo, Says Peter Obi Is The Best

The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has said to hell with Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and all those who are supporting his presidential ambition.

Newsonline reports that Governor Ortom said all those who are supporting or have the intention of supporting Atiku are enemies of the state and supporters of the killings of Benue indigenes carried out by Fulani herdsmen.

The Benue State governor also said that he would never be a slave to any Fulani and would not allow Benue state to be slaves to the Fulani who wants to take over the state from the indigenes.

In the one-minute-plus video, Ortom who stated this in Makurdi, on Monday, while addressing the killings of Gboko indigenes by alleged Fulani herdsmen militia, added that as far as he is governor of the state, the Fulani will never take over the state.

The visibly angry Ortom who is one of the governors in Governor Nyesom Wike’s camp demanding for the resignation of the national chairman of the party, Ayu Iyorchia, mourned how many youths, women and children of Gboko have been attacked and macheted by the Fulani herdsmen without provocation.
