NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has expressed disappointment over the lack of recognition she receives from Nigerians and the local music industry despite her immense contributions.

Widely celebrated as the “Queen of Afrobeats” and one of Africa’s most-awarded female artists, the ‘Malo’ hitmaker believes she deserves greater acknowledgment for her impact and success.

She made the remarks during a recent episode of The OffAir Show hosted by Gbemi and Toolz.

When asked by host Toolz, “Do you think you’ve gotten your flowers from the industry?” Tiwa Savage replied, “No. I’m sorry, I don’t.”

Her response underscored her belief that despite her success and longevity in the industry, she has not received the full recognition she deserves.
