The pro-Tinubu support group, operating under the banner SWAC 4 ABAT AGAIN 2027, is targeting the mobilisation of at least one million votes from the Southwest Arewa community ahead of the 2027 general election. Ja’oji’s backing is expected to significantly strengthen that drive.

The partnership was sealed on Sunday, December 21, 2025, on the sidelines of the installation ceremony of Senator Abdulaziz Yari and Barrister Seyi Tinubu as Obaloyin and Okanlomo of Yorubaland respectively, held in Oyo town. The ceremony attracted a host of prominent political figures, including former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele; Senators Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), Michael Abiru and Wasiu Eshilokun; as well as House of Representatives member, Hon. Ado Alhassan Doguwa, among other dignitaries from across the country.

Speaking at the event, Ja’oji pledged his unwavering support for the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027, commending the leadership of the group’s Director General, Alhaji Shehu Usman Sampam. He said the organisation had demonstrated strong grassroots presence and the capacity to galvanise support within the Southwest Arewa community for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The presidential aide also expressed readiness to convene a strategic engagement with the group to deepen public mobilisation and strengthen pro-Tinubu advocacy across the region, with the aim of securing a decisive victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

Reacting to the endorsement, Alhaji Shehu Sampam described the partnership as a timely and strategic alliance that aligns with the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda. He said the movement was pleased to collaborate with a young presidential aide whose values, he noted, reflect the reform-driven vision of the Tinubu administration.

According to Sampam, the collaboration would help advance public engagement efforts and reinforce the group’s commitment to promoting policies aimed at economic renewal, national unity and sustainable development.

He added that the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027 would work closely with Hon. Ja’oji to further entrench the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda and expand its reach ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
