Shooting Stars Soar to Victory, Clinching 2023 ValueJet Pre-Season Tournament Title.

Newsonline Nigeria report that in a thrilling final held in Ikenne on Thursday, the Shooting Stars emerged as the victors of the 2023 ValueJet pre-season tournament by defeating Beyond Limits with a convincing 2-0 scoreline.

Under the astute leadership of Gbenga Ogunbote, the Shooting Stars exhibited an impressive display of dominance against their counterparts from the Nigeria National League.

The opening goal came in the 16th minute when Malomo Taofeek skillfully headed home Joshua Akpan’s well-placed cross, giving Shooting Stars a valuable lead. Gali Falke then doubled their advantage just four minutes later.

Despite the spirited efforts of Beyond Limits in the second half, no goals were recorded, leaving the final score unchanged.

As a reward for their outstanding performance, Shooting Stars took home a cash prize of N2 million, further solidifying their triumphant journey in the tournament.

Congratulations to the Shooting Stars on their well-deserved victory!
