Regina Daniels has accused Senator Ned Nwoko of domestic violence in a viral video.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has stirred widespread concern after alleging that she has been a victim of domestic violence in her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly.

In a viral video circulating online, the mother of two appeared visibly distressed as she accused her husband of sending thugs to assault her.

In the footage, Regina; seen in tears and shouting, claimed that the level of violence in her home had become unbearable.

“Ned sent thugs! In Ned Nwoko’s house, I’m nothing, but in my house, I’m a queen. What again? I can’t stand the violence — it’s too much,” she cried out.

Eyewitnesses in the video could be seen attempting to calm the actress down, as she was made to sit on the floor while water was poured on her head in an apparent effort to soothe her.

The alleged incident has sparked outrage and renewed debate on domestic abuse in high-profile marriages, especially among celebrities.

Regina Daniels married Ned Nwoko, a billionaire lawyer and politician, in 2019 when she was a teenager. The marriage with a 40-year age gap between the couple has long been the subject of public scrutiny and controversy.

As of press time, Senator Ned Nwoko had not issued any official response to the allegations.
