Popular Anambra Prophet ‘Onyeze Jesus’ has been arrested over money ritual claims.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Anambra State government has apprehended a well-known native doctor and self-proclaimed prophet, Onyebuchi Isaac Okocha, popularly called Onyeze Jesus, also known as ‘Ekere Oru Eke.’

 

Onyeze Jesus, founder of the Children of Light Anointing Ministry, was arrested late Saturday, February 15, by Agunachemba, the newly launched Anambra security outfit.

A native of Nkpor, Onitsha, Anambra State, he is infamous for conducting rituals promising quick wealth.

 

Despite repeated accusations of performing fake rituals, he has maintained that his practices are effective, drawing followers to his church and shrine.

 

A video shows Onyeze Jesus being escorted from his residence by members of the local security team who carried out the arrest.
