Police have deployed DIGs Ciroma, Hafiz, and Frank Mba, among other 17 AIGs.
NewsOnline reports that the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Baba has approved the redeployment of three Deputy Inspector-Generals and 17 Assistant Inspector-Generals.
Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi made the announcement in a statement on Saturday.
DIG Hafiz M. Inuwa will head the Department of Logistics and Supply, while DIG Bala Ciroma and DIG Frank Mba will head the Department of Training and Development and the Department of Research and Planning, respectively.
Following their elevation this week, DIG Ciroma is now the supervising DIG for the North-East region while DIG Mba assumes a supervisory role over the South-East.
The 17 AIGs posted/redeployed to various commands and formations are as follows:
