Police Arrests Woman For Selling Own Baby 300k

Woman who Sold own Baby for N300,000 In Ondo Over Poverty has been arrested by the police.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the police in Ondo state have arrested a woman, Titilayo Kudaisi, for selling her one-year-old baby.

 

The state commissioner of police Bolaji Salami, while parading the suspect and others at the state police headquarters, said Titilayo sold the baby for a sum of N300,000.

Titilayo said he was lured to sell the baby by a friend for N300,000 on the ground of lack of funds.

The woman who did not show any sign of remorse however, blamed the devil for her action.

Police public relations officer, ASP Tee Leo Ikoro, informed that the police were conducting investigation on other culprits involved in selling of the baby.
