Peter Obi has appointed Ibrahim Umar as the new spokesman for POMR.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, has appointed Ibrahim Umar as the new spokesman for the Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR).

This was contained in a press statement issued on Sunday by the outgoing spokesman, Yunusa Tanko, following Tanko’s recent appointment as the interim National Coordinator of the Obedient Movement.

Umar, a computer media analyst and graduate of Bayero University Kano (BUK), hails from Wase in Plateau State.

Prior to his appointment, he was a dedicated member of the Obi-Datti Media Group and is recognized as a strong young supporter from North Central Nigeria.

Tanko, now tasked with coordinating the activities of the Obedient Movement both nationally and internationally, expressed confidence in Umar’s ability to continue the media efforts that have been central to the movement.

He urged the public to support the newly appointed officials as they continue their struggle to challenge the country’s political establishment.

In response to his appointment, Umar expressed gratitude and reiterated his commitment to the cause.

He emphasized the importance of working together to dismantle what he called the “gang of political criminals” hindering Nigeria’s progress.
