Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu has called on all leaders of the country to join hands irrespectively of political differences to bring peace and prosperity to Nigeria after having a closed-door meeting with some political leaders and Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate.
Newsonline reports that Okezie Ikeazu, Nyesom Wike, Donald Duke, Samuel Ortom and others, with Peter Obi met yesterday, Monday, in Abuja to discuss the 2023 general election.
While known of the political leaders revealed what was discussed in the meeting, Governor Okezie of Abia State called on all leaders to join hands to make the country peaceful and prosperous.
Recall that Okezie Ikeazu had invited Peter Obi to his country home in Abia State to discuss political matters.

Also, Newsonline had reported that a source said the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike was interested in Peter Obi presidential ambition after he lost the PDP candidacy to Atiku Abubakar.
On his official Twitter Handle, Okezie wrote, “The search for better Nigeria requires that we all unite to share ideas and work together regardless of political differences. It’s our country’s peace and prosperity that matter to the majority of Nigerians and every leader must think along that line and engage to realize that.”
