BREAKING: Orji Uzor Kalu In Fresh Trouble As EFCC Set To Jail Him Again

Orji Uzor Kalu is in fresh trouble as EFCC is set to prosecute and jail him again.

 

News Online reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has revealed that a former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor-Kalu will be prosecuted for a second time.

This announcement was made by the chairman of the anti-graft commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa on Thursday during a weekly briefing where he gave updated on his performance in office so far.

He vowed that Kalu will be prosecuted ‘all over again’.

 

It will be recalled that Kalu was set free by the Supreme Court in 2020 on technicalities after being convicted of stealing billions of Naira when he was Abia State Governor.

Bawa also stated that the commission will be filing over 800 fresh corruption cases, adding that they will border on public corruption and cybercrime.
