David Okereke has joined Turkish club Gaziantep on loan, seeking a new challenge in the Süper Lig.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that David Okereke has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish Süper Lig side Gaziantep FK from Italian club Cremonese.

The deal includes an option for Gaziantep to make the transfer permanent next summer.

Okereke, who has spent much of his career in Italy, previously featured for Torino during the latter half of last season.

Okereke becomes the second Nigerian player to sign for Gaziantep FK.

The 27-year-old previously featured in the UEFA Champions League during his time with Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge.

Throughout his career, the striker has netted 57 goals and provided 26 assists across 268 appearances.
