Nollywood Actress Tolani is dead and how Tolani died of heart attack in UK has emerged.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Nollywood has lost one of its familiar faces as actress Tolani Akintunde died in the United Kingdom after suffering a heart attack.

 

The actress, best remembered for her roles in popular TV dramas like Everyday People and Palace, passed away a few days ago, leaving behind family, friends, and fans in deep sorrow.

 

The news of her death was shared online by media sources and quickly spread across social media platforms.

Her passing came as a painful surprise to many, especially those who knew her personally or had followed her career from the early 2000s.

 

Loved ones have reportedly been struggling to come to terms with the reality of her sudden death.

 

Akintunde had built a solid career in the Nigerian film industry before relocating to the UK, where she later explored new paths, including business.

 

Her contribution to Nollywood during its earlier years remains widely acknowledged, with many remembering her performances with fondness.

 

She is survived by her daughter, who is said to be coping with the tragic loss of her mother.

 

Since the announcement, there has been an outpouring of tributes from the Nollywood community, with many expressing their sadness over yet another death in the industry.

 

Tolani Akintunde’s death marks another heartbreaking moment for Nollywood in 2025.

 

Just weeks ago, actress and model Monalisa Stephen died due to health complications involving low blood sugar and internal bleeding.

 

Before that, veteran actress Nkechi Nweje died after a short illness and was buried in Anambra State.

In February, producer Rotimi Raji also died after collapsing at home.
