NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Godswill Akpabio United have secured the services of experienced midfielder Dare Ojo ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The Uyo-based club signed Ojo as a free agent, adding experience to their squad as they prepare for the new campaign.
The midfielder last played for Akwa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) three seasons ago.
Ojo was part of the Akwa United squad that won the NPFL title in 2021, helping the club, popularly known as the Promise Keepers, achieve the feat.
He has also featured for several Nigerian clubs, including Lobi Stars, Kwara United and Enyimba.
His wealth of experience is expected to strengthen Godswill Akpabio United’s squad and prove valuable to the team’s ambitions in the upcoming season.
Godswill Akpabio United will compete in NNL Conference A, with their opening fixture scheduled against Stormers SC on Sunday, November 8, at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta.
