4. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has dissolved the corps’ anti-vandalism units nationwide. The Commandant, Ahmed Audi who gave the dissolution order during a meeting with senior officers yesterday, said the action was sequel to insinuations and reports in the public domain that security operatives were likely involved in oil theft.

At a meeting with Pro chancellors and Vice Chancellors in Abuja on Tuesday, Malam Adamu Adamu, Minister of Education, announced that the committee was set up to revisit the issue.
