1. Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has declared one Gift David Okpara Okpolowu, a.k.a. 2-Baba and all members of his criminal gang wanted for the murder of a Divisional Police Officer, Bako Angbashim, in Odiemudie Community, Ahoada East local government area of the state. Also, Fubara announced a N100 million bounty on 2-Baba, for anyone who gives useful information that would lead to his arrest and prosecution.
2. The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, Haruna Garba, on Saturday, revealed that an operative of the Department of State Services who was involved in a shooting incident that left several persons injured and hospitalised has been arrested and detained. He said investigation was still ongoing into the incident while denying allegations that the DSS operative was walking free.

Morocco’s deadliest earthquake in decades has killed more than 1,000 people, authorities said Saturday, as troops and emergency services scrambled to reach remote mountain villages where casualties are still feared trapped. The 6.8-magnitude quake struck late Friday in a mountainous area 72 kilometres (45 miles) southwest of tourist hotspot Marrakesh.

10. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested 41 suspected internet fraudsters in Warri, Delta State. It was gathered that the arrest followed a sting operation based on intelligence reports. The suspects were apprehended by the operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC.
