Over five incumbent governors across the six geo-political zones of the country and former heads of state have pinched their tenet with Peter Obi presidential ambition ahead of the 2023 general election.
Newsonline reports that the massive support Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate is enjoying is been said to be sending fear down the spine of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The Deputy National Chairman of the Labour Party, Bashiru Apapa, disclosed this in Ado Ekiti during a sensitization programme for LP members at the weekend.
Bashiru Apapa said that most politicians across different political parties are embracing the consumption to production message of Peter Obi.
Apapa said the Labour Party will not disclose the names of the many governors who have been working for Peter Obi and the Labour Party for privacy reasons.

The Deputy National Chairman of the Labour Party also disclosed that top political leaders in the country have also shown their support for Peter Obi, but would not make it open for now.
He disclosed that all former heads of state have all thrown their support for the Labour Party presidential candidate.
Apapa said, “There are some people who you may not believe are coming up to support Obi; some leaders up to heads of state are in support of Obi.
“Many governors, more than five of them, are supporting the party underneath. We don’t want to mention their names for now.
“It is because of the popularity of the LP now that everybody is embracing the party; definitely, the APC and PDP are afraid.”
