Mele Kyari’s NNPC has given a 10-year deadline to resolve the energy scarcity crisis in Nigeria.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has assured Nigerians that all issues relating to energy scarcity will be resolved within the next 10 years.
This Nigeria news platform understands that a statement signed by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communication Officer of NNPCL, said that Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the company, made the indication during the commencement of the seventh Nigerian International Energy Summit in Abuja on Tuesday.
He expressed a commitment to working closely with stakeholders to tackle the energy shortage and promote prosperity for the people of Nigeria.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the NNPCL Chief executive assured stakeholders of the company’s “commitment to work with them to close the energy deficit gap and create prosperity for Nigerians.”
The statement added that from “all indications, all issues of energy scarcity in the country would be over in the next 10 years.”
