Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech is ready to seal a return to Ajax – which could help Manchester United in their pursuit of Antony.
Newsonline report that The Red Devils launched a £67million bid for the Brazilian international winger on Thursday but the approach was rebuffed by the Dutch giants who have no desire to sell their talisman.
That said, in the past 24 hours Ajax have appeared to show interest in their former player Ziyech, who was sold to Chelsea in the summer of 2020.
The Moroccan has had a tough time in west London – despite winning the Champions League in 2021 – and is keen to explore a new challenge.
United, now managed by Ziyech’s old boss Erik ten Hag and AC Milan have shown interest but an agreement is yet to have been struck.

According to De Telegraaf, Ajax are now in the mix and furthermore, the playmaker seemingly wants to return to Amsterdam – meaning a deal could be on the cards.
There is also a chance he could be left out of the side for this weekend’s match away at Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday.
The 22-year-old is believed to be frustrated at the prospect of being priced out of a move to the Premier League.
Having struck an excellent bond with Ten Hag during their time working together at Ajax – he is understood to be keen on a reunion at Old Trafford.
