NewsOnline Nigeria reports that well-known Philanthropist, Sir Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu has donated a multi-million naira Media Resource Centre to the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Lagos.
This Nigeria news platform understands that the building was officially commissioned in a grand ceremony held on Wednesday in the institution.

The state-of-the-art building, donated by Sir Kessington, also known as Baba Ijebu, is a significant addition to the institution and a boost to the field of journalism.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the Chairman of NIJ Governing Council, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Wale Edun, minister of finance, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu represented by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, the Provost of NIJ, Dr. Gbenga Adefaye and others.
In his remarks, Osoba praised Sir Kessington Adebutu for his generosity and commitment to the development of journalism in Nigeria.
The 350-seater auditorium is equipped with modern facilities and will serve as a hub for learning, research, and innovation.
