 IGP Usman Baba has redeployed 24 AIGs.

 

News Online reports that Usman Baba, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), on Tuesday, July 28, ordered the posting and deployment of twenty-four Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) to Zonal Commands and formations.

This online news platform understands that the latest postings and deployment of AIGS by the IGP, has seen the former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Commissioner of Police (CP), Bala Ciroma, who was promoted to AIG last Monday, has been moved to Zone-7 Abuja.

 

Similarly, AIG Usman Belel, AIG John Amadi and AIG Adeleke Adeyinka were posted to FCID Annex Lagos, Maritime and Zone 9 Umuahia respectively.

A police statement Seen by News Online, revealed that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NPM, fdc, in line with the new Manpower Development Policy of the Force, has ordered the posting and redeployment of twenty-four (24) Assistant
